For more than 13 years, Van’s Auto Service & Tire Pros has proudly participated in one of Wadsworth’s most cherished traditions—the annual Blue Tip Festival and Parade. As a company deeply rooted in the community, we’re honored to be part of an event that brings families, friends, and local businesses together to celebrate everything that makes Wadsworth special.
The Wadsworth Blue Tip Festival is a five-day community celebration that kicks off with its famous 2.5-mile parade, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the iconic 20-foot Blue Tip Match. Throughout the week, residents and visitors enjoy carnival rides, delicious festival food, live entertainment, games, and activities that create lasting memories for all ages.
This year, on June 23, Van’s was proud to serve as a sponsor of the festival. In addition to hosting a raffle at the gazebo, our team hit the parade route with two Van’s vehicles, several enthusiastic volunteers, and a unique giveaway that reflected who we are as a company.
Rather than handing out candy like everyone else, we distributed 2,500 “Grab More Candy” drawstring bags to children along the parade route. Our goal was simple: make it easier for kids to collect all the candy they received throughout the parade while giving families something useful to take home.
It was a fun twist on a parade tradition, but it also represented what Van’s stands for every day. Our value proposition is, “We listen, we explain, we make it easy.” Whether we’re helping customers understand a vehicle repair or giving kids an easier way to carry their parade treats, we’re always looking for ways to make life’s little moments a little simpler.
